People / Claire Phillips becomes Virgin Atlantic Cargo’s sales manager for continental Europe

first_img Virgin Atlantic Cargo has appointed Claire Phillips as its regional sales manager for Continental Europe.The role will involve working with the carrier’s 17 GSA partners in the region, which generates about 15% of the cargo arm’s annual revenue.Ms Phillips has worked at the airline for five years, most recently in customer service training but also as route development manager and capacity controller. Her new role, which will see her become responsible for revenue and budgets in continental Europe, starts on Monday.“The knowledge and experience Claire has gained from her previous posts within Virgin Atlantic Cargo will enable her to quickly establish herself in her new role and further develop our sales strategies across Europe,” said Ryan Ellis, head of GSA territory management.
