first_img Edinson Cavani 1 Arsenal and Manchester United have been put on red alert by the news Edinson Cavani is refusing to sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain.The Uruguayan’s current deal expires in June 2018 and he has been in talks over fresh terms for several months.Back in January it seemed as though negotiations had gone well and the 30-year-old would sign a two-year extension.However, according to reports in France, talks between Cavani and PSG have gone sour and he has stalled on putting pen to paper.Negotiations have reportedly come unstuck over a bonus clause in the striker’s new contract and he will not sign until it is resolved.Cavani is said to be open to staying at PSG, but the delay regarding his new deal will give Arsenal and Manchester United fresh hope they could lure him away from the French capital.Both clubs have been linked with the Uruguay international in the past and still maintain an interest in him.last_img
